choosing Love over apathy

Heart broken. More tragedies. More deaths.

Crumpling to the ground.

Empty. Hopeless. Impossible.

Consumed by darkness.

There is no hope.

There is no way.

There is simply TOO MUCH cruelness.

How can good people condone this? 

How can most people do NOTHING?!?!?

Outrage. Fury. Anger. Frustration. Powerlessness!

IT IS ALL

TOO

MUCH

!!!!!!!!

More tears fall

Cleansing as they descend

Pulling, sucking out the horror/pain/terror within me.

INCOMPREHENSIBLE SAVAGERY.

How can a world live with so much APATHY.

How can a world live who derides the FEMININE so much.

How can a world live when people who speak LOVE have zero in their hearts. 

Alchemy through expression.

Transformation via emotion.

Hope comes through feeling the DESPAIR…..

It is hard, piercing work - choosing to FEEL through horrors.

It is heart-wrenching work - choosing COMPASSION in response to the discompassionate.

And yet - 

This is LOVE over APATHY.

This is HUMANITY over destruction and BRUTALITY. 

This is choosing to BE THE DIVINE in HUMAN FORM.

I PRAY I CHOOSE THE FORMER.

I pray for strength to alchemize again & again.

I pray for miracles & miracles & miracles.

I GET UP.

I LIFT MY CHIN.

I AM ABLAZE WITH THE FLAMES OF SACRED RAGE.

I GET BACK TO WORK.

I AM EMPOWERED IN MY ACTIONS TO IMPACT THE OUTCOME.
